Alphatetrix

Letter-based puzzler goes HD on the iPad.

Montreuil, November 22, 2010. After racking your brain with "Alphatetrix" on the iPhone, Anuman Interactive is back with a new version for the iPad.

A mixture of a letter game and a “puzzle game”, “Alphatetrix HD” is an application which requires users to combine the maximum number of words possible using blocks of letters which scroll down the screen. Once they reach the bottom, the blocks remain in place and a new block descends. For this alphabetical brainteaser, the user was allowed combinations of 3 to 7 letters on the iPhone.

Anuman Interactive is meeting the needs of players looking for a greater challenge. The blocks now contain 9 letters and only words of 4 to 9 units are accepted. Therefore, there is a significant increase in the number of possible combinations.

The iPad version offers all the main features found on the iPhone app. The player still has a choice of 4 modes: simple, advanced, expert and time challenge, and the goal is still to achieve the highest score. The principle also remains unchanged: validate the letters at the bottom of the screen once a number of words have been formed in order to make them disappear. It should also be recalled that “bomb” and “gatling” bonuses can reduce the “letter puzzle” when it takes up too much space on the screen. In addition, “Alphatetrix” can be played in French and in English.

The application "Alphatetrix HD" has been available from the Global AppStore in the games section (accessible via the link iTunes http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/alphatetrix-hd/id394619554?mt=8), since November 11 2010 for the price of $0.99.
