Alan Wake

In European shops from today.

LONDON – 14 May 2010 - From today, fans across Europe will finally be able to get their hands on Remedy’s much anticipated sleeper hit, “Alan Wake”, as it lights up store shelves.

This blockbuster addition to the Xbox 360 line-up has been met with widespread critical acclaim as reviewers step into the intense and expansive cinematic world of Bright Falls.

Bringing a new style of storytelling to Xbox 360, “Alan Wake” is a psychological action thriller from Remedy, the renowned original developers of the successful “Max Payne” series. The game is episode based with a deeply engaging and suspenseful storyline inspired by the likes of Stephen King, “Lost” and “Twin Peaks” which unveils new twists and profound character revelations at every turn.

Players are called to unravel the riveting plot through multilayered character interactions, unique problem-solving, and intense combat against terrifying enemies. In this nightmarish world, where fantasy and reality collide, Alan Wake must use a variety of weapons to survive, including his most powerful ally against the darkness - light itself.
