Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales now supports modding

Latest patch meets fans request for modifying

Amsterdam, December 18, 2006- Today, game publisher Playlogic Entertainment, announced the release of patch 1.5 for its PC game "Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales."

The most significant feature of the new patch is the ability players have to 'mod' the game. This means that most scripts can now be modified, enabling fans of "Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales" to personalize their version of the game. They can create entirely new quests and maps, change interfaces to their liking, and give the game a whole new look.

This feature has been enabled to answer to the fans request for a modifying ability. Dominique Morel, Chief Technology Officer, said "Thanks to this 'modability', the only limit is the talent and the imagination of the fans. We are eager to see with what they will come up with. "Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales" is about to become even wider and richer than before."

Next to modifying, patch 1.5 boasts improved performance and stability. Numerous game interfaces, such as the colony capturing interface, have been overhauled or completely redesigned to ensure better usability. Features such as the item and quest generator have been made more efficient, helping to make each playthrough an even more unique experience.
