AEGF Acquires Lucky Chicken Games

California studio to produce branded and original content for mobile entertainment platforms

NEW YORK - October 17, 2005 - AEGF, a partnership between Abandon Entertainment and GF Capital Management & Advisors, today announced the acquisition of Lucky Chicken Games of Santa Monica, Calif. The studio will continue under the Lucky Chicken name and will develop games for AEGF, as well as continue to create games for other game publishers and platforms. The announcement was made by AEGF's CEO, Marcus Ticotin and Lucky Chicken's CEO, Jamie Ottilie, who will now serve as AEGF's COO.

"Given our recent agreement with NBC Sports for mobile games and our experience as co-publisher of the best-selling massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Dark Age of Camelot, we think the addition of a talented, experienced development group can help drive AEGF to great heights," says Ticotin. "The Lucky Chicken team has impressed us with their efficiencies, creativity, and ability to take popular licenses and turn them into great games."
