Jamil Moledina, GDC conference director, commented: "We brought together mobile industry heavyweights to inform this year's GDC Mobile program, and elevate the level of discussion about games and mobile entertainment. We've asked experts from Asia, Europe, and the Americas to analyze the key issues surrounding mobile gaming so we can unravel what's next for the global mobile game industry."

Covering a vast range of diverse topics relevant to the rapidly developing mobile industry, the GDC Mobile event will feature more than 40 sessions, panel discussions, lectures, presentations and information tracks, including porting issues, 3D development, licensing, and distribution, amongst many more. The expo forms part of the Game Developers Conference, which focuses more on the traditional videogames industry and is scheduled to run from 20th- 24th March 2006 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, California. GDC Mobile will span two days, beginning on the 20th March.

Registration for the event, in addition to further details on the topic tracks, speakers and expo attendees can be found by visiting the official GDC website.
