Activision unveils Renegade edition of DJ Hero
Deluxe package features hardshell carry case, toughened turntable and extras
Activision is to release DJ Hero Renegade Edition alongside the regular game this year, featuring a redesigned turntable and limited edition music and art.
As well as the game, the Renegade turntable will feature metal controls and finish, a hardshell carry case that converts into a stand, and an exclusive CD of Jay-Z and Eminem tracks with artwork from Shepard Fairey.
No price has yet been attached to the luxury release. The regular DJ Hero title has a recommended retail price of GBP 108, although most online retailers are pushing the game under GBP 89.
Activision is set to release a number of high priced videogames this year. As well as offering the regular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at a RRP of GBP 55, a limited Prestige Edition complete with night vision goggles will retail for GBP 119.99.
