Activision executive salaries revealed in SEC filing

A couple of weeks ago, we reported on the salaries of top executives at Electronic Arts [read more] - now Activision has released similar details for its top executives, and it only seems fair to publish the same information.

According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission this morning, Activision's chairman and CEO Robert Kotick earned $408,375 in the 2003 financial year - a substantial decrease over his 2002 paycheque of $495,000. Co-chairman Brian Kelly earned exactly the same amount, also down from $495k in 2002. Both executives chose to skip their salary for the first three months of 2003, which would have amounted to some $136,125.

This leaves Activision Publishing CEO and company president Ronald Doornink as the highest earner in the company, with a salary of $425,000 and a bonus of $192,694. Executive VP and CFO William Chardavoyne earned $325,000 and received a bonus of $176,666.

Executive VP of worldwide studios Lawrence Goldberg pulled down some $365,000 in 2003, with a bonus of $98,550, while executive VP of global publishing and brand management Kathy Vrabeck earned the same salary - $365k - but took home a bonus of $85,848.
