Abandon Mobile Appoints Kristin Montgomery Vice President Of Sales And Marketing

Senior Marketing Executive Brings Sales and Gaming Expertise to Leading Mobile Entertainment Company

SANTA MONICA, CA and NEW YORK, NY - June 27, 2006:
Abandon Mobile, a leading entertainment company that specializes in integrating interactive film, television, and broadcast content with mobile media, today announced the appointment of Kristin Montgomery to the position of Vice President in charge of Sales and Marketing. In addition to managing and overseeing the company's sales and marketing programs, Montgomery will be responsible for growing Abandon's market leading products including the company's mobile gaming and application-based offerings.

With more than 15 years consumer marketing and sales experience in the fast-paced international video game and entertainment industries, Montgomery has a proven track record of success, and has helped build start ups from zero revenue to up to $200 million. At 3Dfx Interactive, maker of 3D graphics accelerators for the video game PC market, Montgomery was responsible for landing the company's first customer and growing her region to over $70 million in the first year. Most recently, Montgomery held management positions at Glu Mobile and Hands-on Mobile (formerly Mforma) where she concentrated on sales and marketing programs for wireless carriers as well as mobile handset manufacturers.

"Kristin brings a wealth of talent and industry experience to Abandon Mobile and is extremely well qualified to help support the launch of our products and growth into new markets," said Jamie Ottile, CEO of Abandon Mobile. "Utilizing Kristin's TV, film and video game relationships, we are in a great position to build our sales channel even further, while strengthening our ability to help publishers bring high quality entertainment content to the mobile mass market."

"Abandon has an exceptionally talented team of individuals with expertise across multiple platforms and industries," said Montgomery. "As a proven game developer, with access to some of the world's largest brands and entertainment properties, Abandon is uniquely positioned for continued success and growth over the long term."

Kristin's appointment comes on the heels of Abandon Mobile's recent announcement of an exclusive relationship with NBC Sports for its complete mobile sports franchise licenses that include the popular media property National Heads-Up Poker, and soon to be launched Real Golf mobile game. In recent weeks, Abandon Mobile also named Jamie Ottilie to the position of President. Ottilie, who previously served as the company's Chief Operating Officer, also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Lucky Chicken Games. Ottlie has more than 15 year's experience in designing, licensing and producing top-performing video games across multiple platforms.
