A Trio of B-Boy Events at GameCity

25th October 2006. Leamington Spa, UK. FreeStyleGames, one of the UK's most exciting and dynamic new game development studios, today announced a hat-trick of events lined up for the imminent videogame festival - GameCity.

FreeStyleGames will hold three unique events around their innovative, BAFTA-nominated game B-Boy:

Art of the Videogame - in support of the premiere of the 'Into The Pixel' exhibition, Angel Row Gallery and CCAN are holding a discussion with some of the leading artists - including B-Boy concept artist Brian Dugan (aka Chippy), whose work 'Darkness' was selected from submissions across the globe. Angel Row Gallery, Thursday 26th at 1pm

Be B-Boy - FreeStyleGames demonstrates how they captured a dazzlingly complex set of moves and converted them to a unique gaming experience that encapsulates the excitement, music, skill and art of being a b-boy. Thursday 3pm, The Cornerhouse.

I Wanna Be a B-Boy - two workshops held in conjunction with national dance agency - Dance 4. A unique opportunity to try your hand at the latest moves, freezes and be taught by the UK's leading b-boys and championship winners at FreeStyleGames! Followed by a full-on b-boy battle. Friday 27th from 5pm at the Nottingham Arena.

B-Boy uses a dynamically controlled fighting system to help you battle the best b-boys on the planet. Over the course of an in-depth "B-Boy Life" mode, players build up a crew and battle against real-life superstar b-boys including in-game host Crazy Legs, the legendary and original b-boy, who worked closely with the development team to ensure the game's authenticity.
