4T2 Joins TIGA

Web agency joins UK trade association.

Founded in 1998, 4T2 has developed more than 80 free-to-play flash games and websites for youth audiences. The company has won numerous awards including the New Media Age ‘Effectiveness Award’ and the CIPR ‘Pride Award’ for best use of social media.

Mike Hawkyard, 4T2 Business Development Director, explains the company’s focus: “At 4T2 we are extremely passionate about building fun, exciting games that appeal to kids and young adults alike. Our games can be educational and inspiring but first of all they must be downright good fun. No matter what we develop, our primary goal is to exceed the expectations of our clients and our most demanding audience - children.”

Mike explains the company’s reasons for joining TIGA: “We’ve joined TIGA to network with the wider games development community. Often games companies overlook or underestimate the potential for browser based games as a promotional tool or a way to building genuine consumer interest in their products. We want to push home the message that one of the best ways to market your game is with a game. We are keen to showcase our work to TIGA members and hope to impress on them the potential for embracing existing online gaming communities around the world.”

Dr. Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO stated: “ 4T2 is a fantastically creative company with a great spirit and culture of excellence. We look forward to working with them and feel their expertise is a fantastic addition to the TIGA community.”
