2008 International eSports Conference

BERLIN, Germany - May 7, 2008 - This year's International eSports Conference (ESCONF) will serve as an unprecedented forum for eSports companies from around the globe. Participants from European countries such as Belgium, Germany, Greece and Denmark have already registered for the ESCONF, where they will have the opportunity to discuss the future of the growing industry.

"This year's ESCONF is resonating internationally unlike ever before," said ESCONF Project Manager, Carsten Kohlenbeck. "We have decided to run the entire conference in English in order to better serve our broad global audience and ensure a more profound impact than ever before."

Official representatives from national eSport associations in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Austria and South Korea will participate in the ESCONF keynote panel, where they will discuss and evaluate the development of eSports on a global scale. Furthermore, the conference will feature these national eSport associations appearing in public together for the very first time.

About the International eSports Conference (ESCONF) The fifth annual International eSports Conference, the world's most important business and networking platform for the eSports industry, takes place on May 27 and 28, 2008 in Cologne, Germany. Through lectures, workshops, and discussions, the most important and recent topics of the international eSports industry will be outlined and upcoming trends discussed.
