WHO: The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) is announcing there is only 10 more days to submit games for the 12th IAA’s to be held February 19, 2009 at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas. The show will be televised (announcement coming soon) and streamed live on the internet
WHAT: The 12th annual awards recognizes publishers, developers and artists whose work underlies the industry. Peer Panelists for the genre and craft categories are Creative Technical and Active Business members of the Academy who evaluate/play the hundreds of games nominated, and vote for the best in each category. The entire Academy membership, which numbers 15,000, has the ability to vote for the five Game of the Year categories. This year IGDA members will also be able to vote.
