10TACLE STUDIOS AG: Turnover doubled and EBIT more than tripled

Darmstadt, 3rd May 2006 - 10TACLE STUDIOS AG, with a turnover of 17.9 million Euro in the business year ended, was able to more than double last year's result (2004: 8.4 million Euro). In 2005, compared to the same period of time in the year before, the EBIT increased by roughly 362% to 1.684 million EUR (2004: 0.364 million EUR). Also the number of employees more than doubled: At the end of 2005, 168 people were permanently employed at the development and production company for high-end computer and video games (2004: 66), of those roughly 132 in product development.

"We have been profitable the second year in a row and with more than 130 highly qualified game developers, we are one of the biggest independent development and production companies in Europe. This position is an excellent basis for the further expansion of our company", explains Michele Pes, CEO of 10TACLE STUDIOS AG. 10TACLE STUDIOS AG presently owns six development studios and thus has unique development know-how in Europe.

With its six development studios in Europe and Asia, the company located in Darmstadt produces top-quality games meeting international quality standards for the segments of growth in the games market.

In April 2006, Munich Venture Partners (MVP) took a share in 10TACLE STUDIOS AG with the help of their fund established in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft for financing innovative high tech companies. The strategic partnership also grants 10TACLE STUDIOS AG access to the technological potential of Fraunhofer Institutes.

In the current fiscal year 2006, the international positioning is to be further strengthened by the takeover of additional top-class development studios. At the same time, with the projected new releases, the company's positioning in the markets for Next-Generation-content and Massive-multiplayer-gaming is further expanded. Thanks to agreements, 10TACLE was able to secure the development costs for four Next-Generation-products amounting to 20 million Euros.
