10TACLE STUDIOS AG expands further in Singapore
Computer and video games for the Asian market / support by the Republic of Singapore
Darmstadt/Singapore, 1st December 2005 - 10TACLE STUDIOS AG is opening a new development studio in Singapore today and thus consistently continues its international expansion. At present, approximately 180 employees work at the European sites of the corporation and it is one of the few German publishers of computer and video games that is successful on an international scale. In Singapore, 10TACLE STUDIOS AG starts off with a team of approximately 20 employees who closely cooperate with the teams at the sites in Germany, Belgium, Slovakia and the UK as far as the development of technology is concerned.
"In a mere two years, we have managed to achieve an excellent position within the European computer and video games industry. In the context of our international expansion, we will now further penetrate the highly attractive Asian game market. Asia has completely different demands as regards interactive entertainment than Europe and the U.S.A. who we will serve from Singapore with customised products", Michele Pes, CEO of 10TACLE STUDIOS AG, explains. During the next years, the corporation plans to expand its development team in Singapore to approximately 100 employees.
The subsidiary of 10TACLE STUDIOS AG is backed by the government of the Republic of Singapore that appreciates the know-how transfer and exchange. Currently, the studio in Singapore is working on a first title for the Asian market which is being developed in close cooperation with the technology centre of 10TACLE in Europe.
