Size limits and pricing models relaxed in new year

Microsoft has made some progress towards allaying the fears of those who felt that the recent dash update had sidelined the Indie Game channel by relaxing restrictions on submissions to the section.

The most notable change is the increase in potential size limits from 150mb to 500mb, allowing for much more ambitious and complex projects to be submitted. Secondly, developers can now apply the minimum price tag of 80 MSP to games of up to 150mb rather than the previous maximum of 50mb.

Lastly, individual developers can now release twice as many games to the channel than they could previously - a maximum total of 20.
