Publisher Vivendi Universal Games it is to continue its reorganisation by dividing into three distinct regional business units, each with its own president - while current international president Christophe Ramboz is set to leave the firm.

The three new divisions will be Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America, and each one will report to Vivendi Universal Games' global CEO, Bruce Hack, who has overseen the restructuring of the publisher since taking on the chief executive role at the start of this year.

The European operation will be run by VU Games CFO Jean-Francois Grollemund, who will take the title of European president on August 1st, while Hubert Larenaudie takes over as Asia-Pacific president and Philip W O'Neil remains as North American president.

VU Games' current international president and COO, Christophe Ramboz, is set to leave the company as part of the reshuffle; no details of his future plans have been announced, although he will apparently be "pursuing other opportunities." The well-liked industry figure will be remaining until the end of this month to assist in the transition to the new global structure.

The top-level reshuffle for the company comes hot on the heels of massive staff cuts last month, which saw over a third of the firm's 900 employees being laid off and a number of development studios being shut entirely.
