Sierra appoints XBLA exec for online push

Sierra Online continues to strengthen its commitment to online console gaming by appointing Xbox Live Arcade portfolio manager Ross Erickson.

Erickson joins the Vivendi Games online division in the same week that the company announced the acquisition of Wanako Games, creators of the XBLA hit Assault Heroes.

Sierra Online is currently ramping up its intentions in the console downloads market, and has a number of projects under way, including 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures for Xbox Live Arcade.
