Outfit7 partners with Assassin's Creed producer for Talking Tom film

Talking Tom developer Outfit7 has partnered with the Assassin's Creed film's producer Jean-Julien Baronnet to create a live-action film based on the mobile franchise.

"The Talking Tom movie will be a high-content, hybrid family film, featuring both digital characters and real-life actors, and it will touch on all of the important themes that have become synonymous with the Talking Tom brand: tolerance, adventure, humor, and of course, friendship," Baronnet said.

Speaking to Variety, Outfit7 chief product officer Boris Dolenc described a movie as the "natural next step" for the franchise.

Currently, My Talking Tom has been downloaded over 8 billion times and has 350 million monthly active users.
