"To deliver on this promise, we are nearly doubling our seasonal hiring efforts this year to ensure our stores, distribution centers and refurbishment operation center are appropriately staffed to meet the customer demand we expect to receive during the holidays."

As well as in-store "game advisors" the new hires will include 250 consumer electronic technicians within GameStop's refurbishment operation center and warehouse personnel. The seasonal jobs will start on October 6 and end on January 9, 2015.
