GameStop opens dedicated UK retail site
Special offers for launch as US starts serious rival to specialists in UK
US giant GameStop has opened a dedicated retail site for UK customers.
Kicking off with a promotion including 3-for-2 sales on pre-owned titles and reduced hardware and new release prices, the site will also offer a full range of digital sales, compeitions and customer services.
"GameStop's entry into the UK online market will provide consumers with more choices and exclusive content that they can't find anywhere else," said Mike Mauler, executive vice president of GameStop International.
"One of our European exclusives is for the anticipated release of Assassin's Creed Revelations Animus Edition, which will be available to UK gamers only through www.gamestop.co.uk."
