Krome Studios has announced that Kurt Busch, former vice president of product development at Konami, has joined the company as its studio director.
"We're truly excited to have Kurt, who we've known and have had the opportunity to work with for many years, join us here at Krome," said Robert Walsh, Krome Studios co-founder and CEO.
"Kurt displays an amazing level of passion and vision that's rare in the games industry, and it shows in every aspect of his professional career. His addition to the Krome team will help to further lead and drive our growth and success as one of the world's largest indie developers."
In his new role, Busch will manage the Krome Melbourne studio as well as liaise with the Krome Adelaide studio and interface with the Krome Brisbane studio. The company said that he will be instrumental in Krome's growth, as they are ramping up on several new projects yet to be announced.
"I'm very much looking forward to working with everyone to further build upon the company's success and to help set the stage for our future," Busch said.
