Organisers have announced that the Tokyo Game Show 2010 will take place September 16-19 this year, at the Makuhari Messe convention centre in Tokyo.

According to a report from Japan Today, organiser The Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association intends to attract more visitors from Asian regions to this year's event, with plans to work with travel agencies to promote the expo.

2010 will mark the 20th year of the event, the most significant consumer and trade show in the region. CESA anticipates that around 180 companies will attend the show, with over 180,000 visitors expected over the four days.
