ColorZ

Victory attained in France's Milthon awards.

Milthon’s rewards each year the French video games industry. The jury chaired by Philippe ULRICH (creator of the games Dune and Captain Blood) awarded ColorZ as game of the year. It was competing against games like Blood Bowl, Fuel and Cities XL.

“We are really pleased an original gameplay was rewarded and it means a lot for us as we create ColorZ with limited resources and as we are a young studio” says production director and creator of ColorZ Romain Streichemberger. ColorZ outstanding brilliant level design, original gameplay, and graphical and soundtrack coherence made it appealing to the jury.

Revelation 2009: Bulky Pix studio for Hysteria Project (iPhone/iPod)

Best soundtrack: Pastagames studio for Maestro Jump in Music (DS)

Best scenario: Lexis Numérique studio for Metropolis Crimes (DS)

Best graphics: Asobo Studio for Fuel (Playstation 3/Xbox 360)

Best youth video game: Simply-Land (Web) by Pinpin Team

Best mobile platform game: Globulos (DS) by GlobZ studio

Best home console game: ColorZ (Wii) by Exkee studio

Best PC/MAC game: Cities XL by Montecristo Games

Game of the Year 2009 : ColorZ (Wii) by Exkee studio
