Midway launches online store and casual portal to feature classics while new titles are available for digital download from main site

Midway has announced the launch of two new online portals for its videogames - one to offer gamers the chance to download its latest PC titles, the other to open up its classic arcade back catalogue. will feature over 25 of the company's classic titles, including Defender, Joust and Spy Hunter, with bundles of three games available for USD 5, while full games are available from from USD 9.99 upwards.

The online portals were built by Digital River, and vice president of marketing for Midway Home Entertainment, Jona Hamilton, expressed her delight at seeing the two sites launched: "The Midway brand has a long and rich history of fast-paced and addictive games from our arcade and touchscreen heritage," she said.

"The new digital storefront at and the casual games site at allow us to deliver these classics, favourites and recent releases directly to a wide-range of Midway fans."
