Game Connection confirms more than 160 exhibitors

Running With Scissors, Acquire join event

The organisers of the fourth annual Game Connection America @ GDC have announced that more than 160 exhibitors will be attending the event.

Developers Running With Scissors and Acquire are two of the latest to confirm their involvement.

More than 36 countries will be represented this year including a first-time Japanese delegation of nine companies and delegations from France, the UK, Nordic countries and Canada.

"Game Connection is the most time-efficient way for the Microsoft Game Studios first party business development team to meet with the game development community throughout the world," said Microsoft's Sîbastien Motte.

"It's a very good opportunity to engage with a diverse range of developers and get face-to-face interactions to keep a pulse on the industry."

Other confirmed exhibitors include 10 Tacle Studios, Bug Tracker, Cenega Poland, Coresoft, Cyanide, Focus Home Interactive, Kylotonn, Lexis Numîrique, Mere Mortals, Milestone, Now Production Company, Pixelux Entertainment, Rebellion, Santa Cruz Games, Savage Entertainment, Stainless Games, Team 17, Torus Games, Ultizen Games, Virtuos and Vogster Entertainment.

Game Connection was launched in the US in 2004. This year's event will take place on February 19 - 21 in San Francisco.
