Future reports 1% revenue growth

Future has published its financial results for the nine months ended June 30.

The publisher's interim management statement has revealed improved results, with revenue up 1 per cent. The company reports that the percentage growth reflects a revenue growth of 5 per cent in Q3.

Advertising is also up 4 per cent, made up of a 39 per cent increase in online advertising revenue, however Future also reported a 2 per cent reduction in print advertising revenue.

"We have continued to make good progress during the third quarter of our financial year – particularly in digital development," said Stevie Spring, Future's chief executive.

"While the market remains tough, Future is proving resilient and we remain firmly on track for a satisfactory outturn for the full year."
