November DSi sales pass 500,000 units

Nintendo's latest iteration on its handheld, the DSi, has sold 535,379 units in Japan during November, according to data provided by Enterbrain.

The handheld's first month of sales nearly reached those of its predecessor, DS Lite, which sold 550,000 units, reports Kotaku, adding that November's performance has bolstered the DS platform's total sales to 24,239,590 units.

Nintendo's handheld has topped the Japanese hardware sales chart since its launch, selling 171,952 units in its first week.
