Second issue of spin-off comic book now available.

Bolt Creative today announced the release of Pocket God issue #2, the second book in a series of four based off of the smash-hit iPhone game. Available through the Pocket God Comics app by iVerse Media, the digital distribution branch of Ape Entertainment, this latest installment in the Pocket God comic series can be downloaded as an in-app purchase for $0.99. Fans of the series can also subscribe to the Pocket God comic via the Pocket God Comics app and purchase the latest issue along with the remaining two future issues for $1.99, saving the reader $0.99 off the total purchase of all four comic books. Pocket God issue #2 is also available at select comic book stores.
Pocket God issue #2 continues where the first comic leaves off, this time showing the misadventures of the tribe as they leave their island abode on a quest to find a legendary temple that will restore the Gem of Life and their immortality. Borrowing plenty of nuances from the Pocket God universe, Pocket God issue #2 continues to deliver the irreverent and gut-busting humor the franchise is known for.
As a bonus to all Pocket God Comics purchasers, a supplementary digital magazine called The Pygmy Peril is also being included at no additional charge. The Pygmy Peril features exclusive art from the Pocket God world, interviews and responses to comments from the Ape Entertainment team, and includes Ape Entertainment’s comic Little Green Men.
