Gets two new entries for PS3 and Vita this week

This week in Japan new release Super Robot Wars OG Saga Masou Kishin III: Pride of Justice has managed to score two spots in the top 5, with the PlayStation 3 version hitting the top spot with 39,255 sales, and the Vita version getting to number 4 with 18,929 sales.

Meanwhile in hardware the 3DS handhelds stayed on top, racking up 51,097 sales between them.

I know it's not going to happen, but I'd love to see more of the SRW OG games in the west. The two that were released in North America were two of my favourite games for the GBA.

It's worth noting that the actual sales of those games were pretty tepid, with only 39,000 units on PS3 and 19,000 on Vita, making this one of the franchise's weaker launches in Japan.

Bandai Namco really should have tried to get those games out a week earlier for the Obon holiday week.

Historically, the week after Obon, just like the week after Golden Week in the spring, has very low sales.

Nicholas: I don't have data on the other OG launches, though I'd imagine they wouldn't do as well as the games with licensed mechs. That'll most likely be factoring into it as well.
