Little Big Planet coming this October

Kaz Hirai, president of Sony Computer Entertainment, has revealed that Little Big Planet will be released in October and followed by PlayStation Home later in the year.

Delivering a speech during the SCEE PlayStation Day in London, Hirai revealed the release date of Little Big Planet, saying it would "revolutionise" how people interact with games.

He then confirmed that PlayStation Home, the PS3's social networking hub, will be "open to the public towards the end of the year".

"Our confidence in Home has not wavered... As great as it currently is, it needs a little more time," he explained.
