Activision execs receive $6m bonus

Activision's board of directors has approved bonuses to be paid to CEO Bobby Kotick, and co-chairman Brian Kelly.

Kotick was awarded a bonus payment of USD 3,079,798 and Kelly's bonus payment was USD 2,996,556. The two execs were said to have "exceeded target" in relation to their stated goals.

Activision announced a merger with Vivendi games unit - the parent company of Blizzard - to become the world's largest videogame publisher last year. The merger of received approval from the EU and is set to complete on July 8
