European browser games business Bigpoint is taking a number of its titles to Spil Games' social gaming platforms.
The deal begins with ZooMumba, but will increase to include more titles as the two giants come together to increase their respective footprints in the online, social and browser markets.
"This global collaboration will bring one of Bigpoint's best social games to the largest and most effectively targeted community of like-minded social gamers available today," commented Peter Driessen, Spil Games' CEO.
"This is a real meeting of minds Ė I've long admired Bigpoint's innovation within the browser-based gaming world, and I'm delighted to welcome them to Spil's expanding social-gaming platforms."
Spil Games boasts around 130 million unique monthly visitors a month, while Bigpoint has already passed 200 million registered users. Female players are Spil's big audience, with 85 million playing each month, creating 8000 avatars a day on the Girls' channel.
Bigpoint is considered to reach more of a male demographic with browser games like Battlestar Galactica and Dark Orbit, but it also has growing social titles such as Farmerama on its portal Bigpoint.com
"We're thrilled to bring our already hugely successful game ZooMumba to Spil's platform," said Heiko Hubertz, CEO of Bigpoint.
"Spil's audience of like-minded gamers is unique in the industry. Plus, their global reach, localised approach and easy-to-use API will bring us scalability in efficiently rolling out our games in multiple languages, as well as leveraging Spilís social features.
"We're certain this collaboration will ensure high amounts of exposure to ZooMumba and more of our games in the future."
