Facebook footie game now online.
Dundee, Scotland, September 24th 2010. Soccer Tycoon™ , the first Facebook game from the multiple award-winning Dynamo Games has been launched successfully, with players all over the world joining up and creating their own clubs.
Soccer Tycoon™ challenges Facebook users to create their own football teams, allowing them to build their own stadium, talent-spot their team and find fans.
Players can challenge friends and family to penalty shootouts and friendly matches, as well as competing against online teams to reach the top of the league.
In the first few weeks, teams have been created by players from as far afield as Brazil, Portugal and Hong Kong, with teams including The Dog Throwers, Real Ale Madrid, Fuzzy Pumpkins and Purple Platypus FC all competing.
Brian McNicoll, the managing director of Dynamo Games, said, “We are very happy with the progress of Soccer Tycoon™ in the first few weeks since it's been released. We received some fantastic feedback from our beta players which has made it into the wider release.
