Creative England
Creative England invests in and supports creative ideas, talent and businesses in film, TV, games and
digital media. Their aim is to grow the brightest, the best, and those with the most promise so that individuals and businesses can achieve their full creative and commercial potential. Furthermore, they help identify future opportunities to grow the economy and generate jobs. Creative England’s GamesLab is a programme designed to aid and sustain the growth of the burgeoning games’ industry through the development of innovative games and IP. The programme has invested £1.2 million into thegames industry to date, helping to support 40 new Indie Studios and create more than 30 new games’ IP. Creative England is dedicated to the growth of the creative sector and has pledged a further £1 million for investment in the games industry for 2015/16.
