Game Happens, the festival dedicated to the cultural, political and social impact of video games, returns with a fifth edition that focuses on the most innovative elements of independent games. The Festival is both an international conference, aimed at industry professionals, and an exhibition. The 2019 theme is Elements of Change.

With English as the official language of the conference, and as a 'free to attend' event, the IVDC 2010 has extensive international appeal as well as showcasing the very best the fast-growing and confident Italian videogames industry has to offer.
VIEW Conference is the premiere international event in Italy on Computer Graphics, Interactive Techniques, Digital Cinema, 3D Animation, Gaming and VFX. VIEW 2009 will continue to focus on exploring the increasingly fluid boundary between real and digital worlds. Through lectures, meetings, tributes, exhibits, screenings and demo presentations VIEW will reveal the new digital frontier sweeping from cinema to architecture, from automotive design to advertisement, from medicine to videogames.
The IVDC is a two-day event, totally free to attend and with a service of simultaneous translation from Italian into English. It's completely dedicated to the Italian and international game development and it will be an important place where the most important people in the field and who would like to work in the videogame industry can meet and exchange knowledge, instruments and techniques.
This conference brings together computational intelligence (CI) researchers interested in games methods from all over the world with game developers interested in state-of-the-art CI/AI methods. Methods of interest include but are not limited to neural networks, evolutionary computation, fuzzy systems and statistical machine learning. It serves as the main outlet for research into learning to play games, modelling player behaviour, automatic game testing, CI- and AI-based game design, automatic content creation and related topics.
