Namco appoints Roger Hector

Namco Bandai Games announced that Roger Hector has joined its senior management team in the role of vice president of product development

Namco Bandai Games announced that Roger Hector has joined its senior management team in the role of vice president of product development.

Hector will assume the responsibility of overseeing all facets of the companyâs internal and external game development activities.

âWith more than 30 years of development and management experience, Roger provides the Namco Bandai Games executive team with a proven history of creating outstanding video games and the valuable perspective we need to meet our short and long term development goals,â said Genichi Ito, president and CEO of Namco Bandai Games America Inc.

âRoger will play an instrumental role as we continue to build our industry-leading lineup of hit franchises, original properties and licensed titles.â

Hector began his career in the video game industry with Atari and Electronic Arts, led consumer software publishing initiatives for The Walt Disney Company, joined Sega as vice president and general manager, and was president of the digital arts division of Universal Studios.

Most recently, Roger Hector was COO with the Enterprise Broadcasting Corporation and an executive development consultant.
