PSP-3000 gets UK date, price

Sony has told Eurogamer that the PSP-3000 will launch in the UK on 17th October and cost GBP 149.99.

That makes the slightly redesigned model around GBP 10 more expensive than the existing Slim & Lite hardware being replaced.

The silver PSP-3000, which features a brighter screen and built-in microphone, will be bundled with Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters two days earlier for around EUR 199.

This will be followed in "early November" by a 4GB memory entertainment pack bundled with a black PSP-3000 for the same price.

Manufacture of the Slim & Lite PSP will come to a halt sometime this month; Sony Europe boss David Reeves also previously said that there may be time-limited price cut to help clear this model from shop shelves.
