Imagine Publishing appoints new business development manager

Imagine Publishing has announced the appointment of Nick Roberts to the newly created position of business development manager.

Roberts, who began his career as a staff writer for the ZX Spectrum magazine Crash, will be in charge of advertising for the publisher's NRevolution and Pokémon World magazines. On top of those duties he will also be handling promotional projects that cross over all of Imagine's videogames publications.

"It feels good to be returning to the cut-and-thrust of the gaming industry," said Roberts.

"Pokémon World has been a phenomenal success on the newsstands, catering for the often overlooked 12-and-under age group of eager videogamers and trading card fans. There are some exciting promotions and advertising deals to be done across all formats with this title, and coupled with NRevolution Imagine has an unofficial Wii and DS readership that is second to none."

Imagine Publishing currently owns over 20 print publications covering videogames, computing, entertainment and photography. Among its videogame magazines are Games TM, Retro Gamer and Total PC Gamer.
