Full list of speakers issued for MIGS

Over 80 industry figures joining keynotes by Ed Fries and Ron Carmel in Montreal

The full list of speakers has been released for November's Montreal International Games Summit, with Ryan Challinor, Craig Morrison and many other luminaries giving talks on various areas of the videogames business.

The full list, available at the summit's website, brings together more than 80 industry figures to join Ed Fries and Ron Carmel, who will be providing the main keynotes for the event.

Neville Page will be speaking on creative character development from his perspective as an industry designer in the arts and visual effects field, while industry veteran Richard Borenstein will give an address on monetisation and accessing the virtual wallet. They'll be joined by Rafael Chandler, a writer who has worked on SOCOM, MAG, U-Wars and Rainbow Six: Lockdown as he gives a speech on narrative.

Montreal's very own Ollie Sykes and Olivier Proulx will also be in attendance from EA Montreal, giving a special presentation on the benefits and pitfalls of creating games on Apple devices. Leading the technical section of speakers will be Square Enix' global chief technical officer Julien Merceron, who'll discuss the special challenges faced when straddling the Eastern and Western markets in his lecture: building a global technology strategy when East meets West.

The Montreal International Games Summit takes place at the Hilton Bonaventure Hotel in Montreal from 8 to 9 November. Registration for the event is open now.
