Brendan is managing editor at GamesIndustry.biz and first joined the site in 2012. Prior to that, he was senior news editor at GameSpot, and served as features editor for the short-lived Polygon Magazine. His work has also appeared in USgamer and Kotaku.

Brendan started his career in game journalism with a round-up of the Sega Dreamcast launch in September of 1999 for the student newspaper at the University of Texas at Austin, and has been writing about games at least part-time ever since. He also spent a couple years working a variety of beats at community newspapers in Illinois and Oklahoma.

He is based out of Toronto and can be found on Mastodon and BlueSky.
