League of Legends: 32 million monthly active players
Riot claims "the most played video game in the world" with new infographic
Riot Games has revealed that League of Legends currently has 32 million monthly active users, peaking at 3 million a day concurrently.
The stats come as part of an infographic released ahead of the Season Two Championship Finals this weekend.
Riot claims that 1 billion hours of League of Legends are played each month, with the company comparing online activity to not only games but social media and applications such as Facebook and Instagram.
