New online and smartphone gaming network gets backing from Skype founders Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis.
London, 1st October 2009 - ZATTIKKA – the new online and smartphone gaming network ( www.zattikka.com) announced today that Atomico Ventures participated in its oversubscribed seed round.
On September 10th Zattikka announced its first acquisition, the highly regarded flash gaming site, Gimme5games www.gimme5games.com.
Atomico Ventures is founded by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, the technology entrepreneurs who built Skype, Joost, Joltid and Kazaa. Atomico are viewed as being innovative global investors at the forefront of Internet and mobile technologies.
