XLEAGUE.TV Announces New Schedules

This weekend will see a change to XLEAGUE.TV. As of September 1st, XLEAGUE.TV will phase in new programming schedules, with the emphasis on more new programming between 7am-1pm in the morning and 6pm-12am in the evening and an entirely new segment of content called The eSports Hub.

"With the increase in competitive activity on the website we thought it high time we started to bring gamers and viewers up to date match results, league tables and all the latest news from the world of XLEAGUE. So we're introducing The eSports Hub to give the viewers a chance to see activity from the website on TV. It's all part of our continuing commitment to improve both the on-air and on-line quality for our audience. It's going to take a few weeks to fully implement, but once it's up and running we think it's going to be an integral part of the channel" said Ray Mia, XLEAGUE.TV channel head.

XLEAGUE.TV will also be rolling out a number of new shows in the short term future including a dedicated trailer show - Trailblazers; a gaming tips show called The Edge; Gear Slot - for hardware reviews; and the daily news show, Game60. These new shows are in addition to those that have already been introduced such as Games Night and The Casual Gaming Show. This weekend will also see the launch of Talkback on XLEAGUE.TV - a weekly downloadable Podcast discussing all things gaming.

All this news comes just a week after the announcement that XLEAGUE,TV will be running a £10,000 Halo 3 league, on top of offering numerous free tournaments.
