Xevicom Forever Graphic Novel Launches On Wii | PS3 | PSP | PC

Free Graphic Novel by Best Selling Author Darren Reid Launches for PC and Consoles

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Next Gen Books today releases the first two issues of Xevicom Forever, a free graphic novel from best selling fantasy author Darren Reid, on PC and next generation consoles. In addition to online Wii and PS3 editions this release marks the first release of a downloadable PSP edition which can be read offline, any where, any time.

Xevicom Forever was written by best selling fantasy and science fiction author Darren Reid. The project originally went into production in 2004 but after various delays and a spiralling budget the project was scrapped by Reid in favour of writing his first novel after the online release of issue #0 only.

"It was a great disappointment for me to leave Xevicom Forever behind," notes Reid, "It was my first attempt to write a commercial project and was even featured in Wizard Edge's top 50 comics to watch out for in 2005! But it is an honour for me to finally share Xevicom Forever with the world."

Xevicom Forever has remained almost completely buried since its abandonment in 2005 and is being released entirely free of charge for a limited period on a number of formats including next generation consoles. Downloadable editions will be available for PC and PSP along with a live version enhanced for Wii and PS3. The latter edition will also allow DS users in Europe and Japan to view the title.

The graphic novel will be released in a series of four issues over the next three weeks. Issues #1 and #2 will launch together on March 9th with issue #3 following on March 16th and the final issue coming on March 23rd. The complete graphic novel will then launch on March 30th.

Darren Reid is the author of the best selling science fiction and fantasy fusion novel The Lord of Darkness and Shadow: The Chronicles of the Shadow Book One and the Wizard of Oz prequel The Sword of Oz which was played over 10,000 in its first ten days of going live on Next Gen Books. He is currently writing the follow up to his debut best seller and is planning the release of the epic fantasy novel The Half Broken Crown.

Xevicom Forever marks the first in a series of new releases from Next Gen Books which has a number of exciting titles from a variety of authors due out in the coming months including science fiction and fantasy from authors Kyrinn Synthea Eis, Kim Silva and David Goyette and host of others to be announced later in the year.

Xevicom Forever issues #1 and #2 are out now on www.DarrenReid.co.uk and www.NextGenBooks.com
