Worldwide Sensation “24” Inspires Interactive Game for Mobile Telephone Users Based on Fox TV Hit

Fox Mobile Entertainment and I-play Team Up to Deliver “24,” The Mobile Game

San Mateo, CA & London, UK - 25th July, 2005: Mobile telephone users the world over will soon have a chance to accept a high priority, time-sensitive assignment from Counterterrorist agent Jack Bauer, when the hit television series "24" comes to the wireless space in the form of an exciting new game. I-play, the mobile games company, has secured a strategic partnership with Twentieth Century Fox's new unit Fox Mobile Entertainment to develop, publish and distribute one of the market's most desirable licenses - "24" - as a mobile game to a global audience.

I-play, in collaboration with Fox, aims to capture the time driven tension of the series and deliver a breakthrough in mobile game play. The game will stay true to the flavour and spirit of the enormously successful franchise which critics have hailed as the most intense, engaging and surprising program ever to grace a TV screen. Just as mobile phone communication figures prominently in every heart-racing episode of "24," players of the game will receive instructions, messages, and intriguing content delivered directly to their mobile devices. The clock starts racing the moment players begin to play, echoing "24's" signature real time motif in which every second counts and calamity could be less than 24 hours away.

The first "24" mobile game, under the multi-year license, will launch in time for "24's" fifth season in Q1 2006 together with "24" ring tones and wallpaper, also included in the deal.

"24" has been and is ranked the number one TV series among 25-54 year olds in America with an audience of six million. The series' US success is mirrored in Europe, with a following of nearly 10 million across five countries.

Twentieth Century Fox and I-play together are planning an unprecedented marketing push behind the mobile franchise of '24' to launch the first game.

"This is one of the most coveted and exciting licenses in the industry. You do not come across brands like '24' every day, which have such an enormous following across all age groups and geographies, but also one that has the potential to be converted into a thrilling mobile game experience," said Brian Greasley, CEO of I-play.

Leighton Webb, Vice President of Wireless Licensing for Fox Mobile Entertainment, remarked: "We knew that '24's' spectacular combination of action, suspense and intrigue would be ideally suited to wireless gaming, and what better company than I-Play to bring it to fruition? They are industry leaders with a proven track record of innovation and imagination. We feel confident that I-Play will create a mobile gaming experience every bit as compelling and addictive as '24' the television series is for its audience around the world."
