Worlds Largest Outdoor Games Event Sets Up Camp in The Netherlands Again

The largest outdoor PC LAN event in the world - Codemasters Campzone - is just around the corner. A little over one month to go, before thousands of gamers will gather in Biddinghuizen, The Netherlands, to start a ten day gaming festival that keeps gathering momentum year on year.

From the 22nd of July until the 1st of August thousands of colourful tents, miles and miles of UTP cables and hordes of gamers from everywhere in the world will overtake a part of Holland for one of the most unique games events in the world. At Codemasters Campzone gamers can challenge each other at all kinds of different games over a huge network, enjoying the comfort of their own tent and pc.

International game publisher and main sponsor Codemasters, known for franchises like TOCA/DTM/V8 Race Driver and Colin McRae Rally, will exclusively show their upcoming games during the event. This year will be the third time that Codemasters is the main sponsor of Campzone. In addition some gamers bring their own sponsors in the form of major PC peripheral brands. Campzone is organised by GameParty.net; the largest organiser of PC LAN events in the Benelux, service provider for network gaming and known for its Best of Benelux Tournaments.
