Wild West Trains

Business sim from Russia launched on three German social networks; other countries to follow.

I-Jet Media has published a game called Wild West Trains in three largest German social networks: StudiVZ, MeinVZ, and SchuelerVZ. It is the first game by studio Evolution Games launched through the international social game distributor, i-Jet Media. Evolution Games is going to have this game published in other European social networks continuing cooperation with i-Jet Media.

I-Jet Media remains the only publisher who launches games by Russian developers in German social networks. In June 2010, i-Jet published five games including Farm Frenzy and Winter Championship by Alawar Entertainment, and i-Jet Media plans to launch at least seven games more by various developers until the end of September 2010.

As an economic simulator, Wild West Trains is targeted at wide audience. Players should develop railroad facilities and the adjoining city. The action takes place in the Wild West. "We consider such game format to be clear and close to thriftful, serious and mature audience of German social networks. Economic simulators are in popular demand there, and this fact causes Wild West Trains' success. The game rating flew up during the first day, and payments reached a record figure ever gained by our company," said i-Jet Media's General Producer Alexey Kostarev. The launch of the new game indicates that rate of German network users' interest for Russian games is growing rapidly: the number of new games installations has doubled in compare with the first launch performed in June 2010.

The game Wild West Trains is translated in seven languages, then it is to be launched in the largest social networks of France, Spain, Italy, and Poland. Moreover, it will be published in Japanese - in social network Mixi.

StudiVZ, MeinVZ, and SchuelerVZ are three more attended social networks in Germany (people from 14 to 39 years old). Basically, they are visited by German, Austrian and Swiss students and graduates, and their aggregate monthly audience ecceeds 17 million users.
