Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures

Game publisher Telltale Games, selected leading UK voice production team, Outsource Media, www.omuk.com, to cast and record the voices for its comedy game series, Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures. The first of the four monthly episodes, based on Aardman Animations' popular claymation films, has just released at http://www.telltalegames.com.

the voiceover work here is once again top notch. Fans of the series are probably disappointed to hear that Peter Sallis did not lend his voice to Grand Adventures, but Ben Whitehead takes up the vocal reins quite nicely.

Having heard the new voice for Wallace, I agree that Whitehead is the best alternative next to Sallis himself, and Telltale Games deserve much credit for this choice.

While it's disappointing that Peter Sallis isn't present to reprise his role as Wallace, his replacement does a surprisingly fantastic job, as do the rest of the cast, even those who are only heard as angry British voices shouting from windows. The music is also classic Wallace & Gromit fare, and suits the tone perfectly.
