Benchmark Capital and BlueRun Ventures continue financial investment

Mobile games start-up Vollee has raised USD 7.5 million (EUR 5.4m) in its second round of funding from shareholders including Benchmark Capital and BlueRun Ventures.

According to Globes, the company has also made a number of new management appointments.

Vollee was founded 18 months ago and currently employs 50 staff. It is currently working on a platform to deliver mobile games to 3G handsets, with a number of international partners to be announced shortly.

"At present, two Israeli operators are set to launch, and another US operator is about to make a major launch, and another will launch in Europe," commented Yossi Hasson, co-founder of Vollee.

"The demand we face at present is more than we can handle," he said.
