Vivox/Epic Games deal

Voice chat tech integrated into Unreal Engine 3.

NATICK, MA, February 11, 2009 — Vivox, Inc. ( www.vivox.com), the market leader in voice services for online games and virtual worlds, has entered into an agreement with Epic Games to join the company's Integrated Partners Program (IPP). As part of the agreement, Vivox's voice technology will be integrated with Epic's Unreal Engine 3. Publishers and developers licensing Unreal Engine 3 will now have immediate access to Vivox's trusted and proven voice service, making voice integration with UE3 powered games quick, simple and cost-effective.

Vivox's integrated voice chat technology and managed service are being deployed by some of the industry's leading studios such as CCP Games, NCsoft and Sony Online Entertainment. Through this deal, advanced real-time communication service is now available to publishers and developers as part of the native Unreal Engine toolset for PC and PLAYSTATION®3 platforms. In addition, publishers and developers will have full integration support from the Vivox implementation and operations teams.
